Ukraine: An On-the-Ground Perspective and a Call to Action

As many of you, we the ICF community, are horrified by the brutal, unprovoked attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine. As we witness the needless loss of life, displacement, and destruction, we too ask ourselves what we can do to help, individually and collectively. The board of Impact Capital Forum is working on a series of events related to the war and relevant to our impact investing community. 

Please join our first event with guest speakers:

• Vlad Verchenko, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, JSCB Industrialbank
• Leonid Antonenko, First Deputy Chairman at the State Fund of Ukraine 
  

We unequivocally stand with the people of Ukraine. The unconscionable actions of the Russian government are a threat to liberal democracy, sovereignty, and human rights everywhere. We call on each other to support Ukrainians as they fight for these universal values. 

All proceeds from the event will be donated to UN Global Compact Ukraine and UN Global Compact Poland, currently working together to care for approximately 2700 orphans who have recently arrived from Ukraine to Poland.
